Wow. When my teacher's at his worst, I am definitely at my best. It began as a couple pages of random doodles and ended up as a full-on character pose ^_^
This character is my dearest brainchild Angela Dixon. I added the halo last minute, because Angela is not an angel. She has this power to take on the wings of a bird-any bird, but her preference is the goose-the first bird she encountered. Swinging the halo, her pose seems to say, "I may not be an angel, but I can spread my hope and joy to everyone and so can you!" I feel her elation when I look at it. Doesn't it make you so HAPPY?
I imagine her uniform as white denim or tough material like what the military wears, connected at the joints with a black stretchy mesh of some sort <3 I would love to cosplay her. I am also designing her helmet. It looks like a falcon, but I have to make sure I'm not copying anyone's design. Research time~!
Any ideas for cool additions to her outfit? Accessories? It has to be fairly simple and safe-dangling chains would NOT be conducive to flying. This isn't a stupid Squeenix character, guys. No random belts or zippers either. Think FUNCTIONAL.
And ya I know her leg is foreshortened kinda weird : / I don't draw with pen often. Forgive me. XD
8D I wanna go fly like a bird too~
I drew this the day before I got my acceptance letter to the Ad program at BYU-something I've been working on applying to this entire year. Hard work pays off, guys. Don't fear the unknown. LEAP!!!
